Here It Is

Due to somewhat popular request (whether spoken or unspoken), I have decided, against my better judgement ;) to show my attempt at an entry for the Odyssey Dollar Contest. I never really finished it, and this was only going to be a rough draft, but I didn't get beyond the rough draft, so this is the best I can give you:

So there, are you satisfied? :P

  1. It looks like a nice rough draft! I never got around to finishing mine either, but I think I will just for fun.

  2. Well, yeah, it was just for fun, but the winner gets Album 54 before anyone else! That was a definite motivation for my almost finishing the drawing.

  3. Wow, that looks waaaaaaaay better than you made it out to be. It looks just as good as anyone else's. Sure, the finalists are better, but that's why they're the finalists.

  4. Oh, and didn't they say a signed copy of Album 54? That was my main motivation, cause I always buy the new albums when they come out, against my better judgement. I always end up entering some contest to win them afterwards, but I never win. But I don't have as much motivation to win when I already have the album.

  5. @ Dave: Yeah, I know. Me too. :D

@ Goeey98/Will: Yeah, I guess it looks okay, but I really wasn't into it in the first place, and that was my best shot at drawing Whit, so because it didn't look very good, and my attempt at drawing Connie was pitiful, I decided against finishing it and sending it in.

The amazing prize was the only reason I started my attempt at all; it's one of the best motivations ever!

  6. I noticed your endorsement for Passages in several of the new editions of the books. It was quite good. Of all of the AIO books, Passages is my favorite series.

  7. WHAT?! Could you repeat that please? Are you sure that was me? I don't even remember ever doing that!

In fact, I think it was something you had to mail in, so I know it wouldn't have been me. I know there was another Christian A. around the Odyssey Scoop at some point about a year ago, but he wasn't there for very long. Honestly, I really don't think that's me. But it would be cool!

  8. Oh, yeah. This Christian A. lives in Tennessee.

  9. Meaning the one who did the endorsement.
